Our Story

Cherished Forever was created by Laurie, a mom that lost her 7 year old daughter to leukemia. Just before Kristie died, Laurie searched for a necklace that had two halves to it. She knew she wanted to bury Kristie with one half and keep the other with her. What she found was far from perfect. Although Laurie never wore the necklace, she keeps it with her wherever she goes.

It’s been 26 years since Kristie died and Laurie still cherishes that necklace. It helps her to know that Kristie has that other half and that they are always connected.

The idea of the 2-Part Shared Heart comes from Laurie’s hope that others will have something perfect to share with their loved one. The Cherished Collection is designed to bring comfort and the gift of love to be remembered and Cherished Forever.
